PERUVIAN PYRITE (FLUORESCENT)

The zinc-lead mines, and in particular the Huanzala Mine in West-Central Peru are world famous for producing impressive pyrite specimens. These pyrites come in a wide variety of crystal shapes, can be quite large and are often associated with other minerals such as galena, sphalerite and quartz crystals.
