MOOKAITE JASPER PENDANTS
This stunning, multicolored stone has pastel hues of reds, yellows and purples. Mookaite can be described as chert, opalite, chalcedony or combinations of the three. It's actually a sedimentary rock, formed from the microscopic remains of tiny radiolarians. Mookaite is found as nodules in the Windalia Radiolarite formation within the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction, Western Australia.
