9.9" Fossil Flora (Zeilleria, Macroneuropteris & Annularia) Plate

This is a large fossil flora plate that contains a rarely seen Zeilleria sp. fern fossil, Macroneuropteris sp. leaves and horsetail (Annularia sp.) whorls. The plate was collected from the Breathitt Formation of Leslie County, Kentucky. It comes from the Late Carboniferous, Pennsylvanian aged forests that formed the coal shales of Kentucky and Ohio.

Comes with an acrylic/metal display stand.
