.27" Cretaceous Fossil Multituberculate Mammal Tooth - Montana

This is a rare, .27" wide tooth from a Cretaceous-aged multituberculate mammal, likely Meniscoessus. This genus of rodent-like mammal existed during the last years of the age of the dinosaurs. It comes out of the Hell Creek Formation in Dawson County, Montana.

The tooth is beautifully preserved and even has portions of its root still intact. Comes with an acrylic display case.
