.21" Fossil Fly (Plecia) - Bois d’Asson, France

This is a fossil fly (Plecia sp.) collected from the Oligocene-aged deposits of Bois d'Asson, France. The dark-brown preservation contrasts nicely against rock. This is part of an old collection that we recently acquired.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
