2.6" Fossil Shark Tooth (Serratolamna) - Morocco

This is a fossil tooth of the shark Serratolamna. Serratolamna is probably the most ornate of the Mackerel sharks and has very distinctive and large double side cusps. Teeth of this quality are rare and quite desirable, as the aforementioned side cusps are so frequently damaged during their many years beneath the earth.
