1" Rare, Ordovician Starfish (Petraster) Fossil - Oklahoma
This is a rare, 1" wide Middle Ordovician, fossil starfish (Petraster wigleyip) from the Bromide Formation of Oklahoma. It is part of a pocket that was collected some time ago (I believe decades) and very little starfish material has been recovered outside of this pocket. We acquired most of the material from this pocket but this was the only Petraster among the starfish.
