This is a rare, .1" wide premolar tooth crown from Hyopsodus sp., an extinct early ungulate mammal. It was collected from the Lower Eocene (Ypresian stage) Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of Oise, France. It is the lower right 4th premolar.

Comes in a small acrylic display case.
