Detailed Fossil Cockroach (Blattodea) In Baltic Amber - Rare!
This is an 11mm long, 44 million year old fossil cockroach (order Blattodea) preserved in Baltic amber. Cockroaches are one of the more uncommon insect inclusions and this one is fairly good sized for a bug trapped in amber.
As a reminder, most inclusions in Baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
