6" Cluster of Ordovician Carpoids & Brittle Stars - Morocco

This is a 6" wide cluster of fossil echinoderms from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. There are several carpoids as well as several partial brittle stars (Ophiura sp) The bright orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
