This is an incredible 2.0" long specimen of the zeolite Thomsonite from the Maharashtra province of India. Thomsonite is one of the rarest zeolites found in the volcanic rocks in the area. The fuzzy ball of Thomsonite has a beautiful peach to red coloration, and is 1.2" across.

Small tabular stilbite crystals can be found protruding from the surface of the specimens, surrounding the thomsonite aggregate that sits near perfectly in the center of the specimen.
