Unusual Pliomera Trilobite From Norway

This is a rare trilobite offering from the Huk Formation in Norway, a Pliomera. Similar trilobites are sometimes offered from Russia but the ones from Norway have dark black shell preservation. This specimen is fully outstretched, very 3D and just under 2 inches long. There is some minor restoration to the right side of the tail as well as a few minor shell touchups on some of the pleural tips (about 3% total) This is a really unusual offering and the first Pliomera I've seen from Norway.

The last photos in the series is the preparation sequence. Preparing this specimen took many hours of work due to how hard the limestone surrounding it is.
