Polished, Agatized Douvilleiceras Ammonite - 1.8"

This is a polished Douvilleiceras ammonite from the Upper Cretaceous (112 million years old) of Madagascar. The fossil has been replaced with a beautiful yellow/amber colored agate and shows the distinctive bumpy shell of this ammonite genus. These polished Douvilleiceras ammonites are often referred to as "Jade Claw" ammonites.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
