1.8" Illaenus Tauricornis Trilobite - Russia

This is a nice example of the Middle Ordovician trilobite Illaenus tauricornis. It comes from the Vilpovitsy quarry near St. Petersburg, Russia and is nicely prepared. It's just over 1.82" long, very inflated and the matrix has been sculpted so it displays very aesthetically with free standing genal spines.

While the shell has been repaired in quite a few places as it flaked during collection there is very little restoration, maybe 1-2%
