Jet Black Asaphus From Norway - Rare!

Most people are used to seeing the common carmel colored Asaphus trilobites from the St Petersburg Region of Russia, but Norway has a similar fauna preserved with jet black shell. This is a very rare Asaphus sp. from the Oslo region of Norway. It would be about 2 inches long if fully outstretched, there is a small gastropod beside it and there is no restoration. It even has a tiny occipital spine, something I'm not aware of in any of the Russian Asaphus species.

Please note the right free cheek is missing on this specimen.
