Fossil Spider Web and Fly In Baltic Amber - Rare!
This is a 44 million year old fossil spider web and fly (order Diptera, scientific name Psychodidae), preserved in Baltic Amber. The amber is relatively flawless with little to no plant matter to obstruct the presentation of the small spider webs and fly.
As a reminder, most inclusions in baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
