"Devil Horned" Cyphaspis Walteri Trilobite Cluster

This is an aesthetic cluster of three Cyphaspis walteri trilobites quarried near Ofaten, Morocco. They are all fairly large for the species and prepared with all of the spines free-standing. Two are one one side of the limestone and a third on the other.

This species was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
