Arched Gerastos Trilobite Nice Dark Shell

Here's an inexpensive of the Proetida trilobite Gerastos tuberculatus from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. The Proetidae family of trilobites was the last group to go extinct at the end of the Permain period. It has beautiful preservation, with just a tiny ding on one of the axial rings.

This is a specimen which I purchased as part of a lot partially prepared and did some final cleanup/detail work on it myself. There is nice shell detail and no restoration.
