This is a Late Cretaceous, fossil sponge of the species Etheridgea goldfussia from Kazakhstan. Etheridgia genus sponges are characterized by their deep central cavity, of which is easily observed on this specimen.
There is a repaired crack through the center of this specimen. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
