1.4" Calymene Niagarensis Trilobite - New York

This is a dark shelled Calymene niagarensis trilobite from the Rochester Shale near Middleport, NY. It was collected from Caleb's Quarry. It's free of the surrounding shale, and sits nicely on a flat surface. At 1.4" long it's pretty large for the species.
